Elevating Exhibition Design: Crafting a Multidisciplinary Experience for ASTRO
In an age where art audiences expect immersive, cross-channel storytelling, ASTRO emerges as a showcase of multidisciplinary design for artist Marianela Zocco. This case study traces the end-to-end process—spanning 3D object modelling, editorial layout and an interactive, responsive catalogue—used to build a unified experience.
By linking physical sculpture with digital exploration, ASTRO delivers a visual system that blurs gallery walls and screen space, adding depth to the exhibition’s curatorial narrative. The result is a cohesive platform that invites visitors to engage, wander and return—online and in person.
They needed a complete ecosystem that would bridge the physical and digital worlds of contemporary art.
ASTRO was more than a design project — it was an opportunity to build a visual and conceptual system around an artist’s unique vision. Collaborating closely with Marianela Zocco and Mariana Maggio allowed me to explore new intersections between editorial design, 3D modeling, and interactive experiences. This project reaffirmed my belief that thoughtful design can shape how we engage with contemporary art — not just as viewers, but as participants in a larger dialogue.
